多民族国家的民族发展和团结,关系到国家长治久安的问题,而教育是民族发展的基础,也是各民族交往、融合的桥梁。当前,民族教育政策的研究应主要包括以下三个方面的内容:少数民族教育发展政策、双语教育政策和民族理解政策。在开展民族教育政策的国际比较研究时,必须研究该国的主流文化及各少数民族的文化。我们可采用田野研究、文献研究等方法,深入理解他国民族教育政策出台的历史文化背景以及政策出台的意义,并详细了解该项政策执行的情况和效果,切莫就事论事,妄下结论。
Ethnic development and solidarity in a multi-ethnic country have a bearing on the long-term peace and stability of the country. Education, on the other hand, is the basis for national development as well as a bridge for the exchanges and integration among various ethnic groups. At present, the study of ethnic education policy should mainly include the following three aspects: education policy for ethnic minorities, bilingual education policy and national understanding policy. In carrying out an international comparative study of ethnic education policies, it is imperative to study the country’s mainstream culture and the cultures of all ethnic minorities. We can adopt field research and literature research methods to understand deeply the historical and cultural background of the national education policy in other countries and the significance of the introduction of policies. We also understand the circumstances and effects of the implementation of this policy in detail.
