现有各种地震力理论,都不考虑竖向振动的影响。这对一般较低的结构和抗拉能力很大的结构来说是正确的,但对高耸的砖石结构(如烟囱、水塔和高坝等),就缺乏充分的根据。因为地面的竖向振动有时在高耸的结构中引起激烈的纵向振动,这样产生的拉应力可能对结构的破坏起很大作用。本文对此一问题作了初步研究,利用地震反应谱曲线的概念,提出了一个比较合理和实用的计算方法。在文中举了一个烟囱作为实例,计算结果表明纵向振动所引起的拉应力使烟囱很容易在上部断裂,这符合大家所公认的实际破坏现象。
There are various seismic force theories, and the effects of vertical vibration are not considered. This is correct for structures that are generally low in structure and high in tensile strength, but lack sufficient evidence for tall masonry structures (such as chimneys, water towers, and high dams). Because the vertical vibration of the ground sometimes causes violent longitudinal vibration in the towering structure, the tensile stress thus generated may play a significant role in the destruction of the structure. This paper has made a preliminary study on this issue. Using the concept of seismic response spectrum curve, this paper presents a more reasonable and practical calculation method. In the article, a chimney is taken as an example. The calculation result shows that the tensile stress caused by the longitudinal vibration makes the chimney break easily in the upper part, which is in line with the actual damage phenomenon recognized by everyone.
