为防止车轮裂损造成脱轨,要对因制动故障而受热的车轮的周向应力进行无损检测。不得使用周向拉应力高的车轮。带有小型传感器,易于测定表面残余应力的这种磁力控制应力检测法获得了应用。找出适合测定周向应力的检测点,最适合的检测点在轮辋内侧靠近标准槽处。用标准法检测的结果与用破坏性检测法检测的结果进行比较,表明两者关系密切。检测许多车轮之后,才确认标准检测法可测定车轮的周向应力。
