一百多年来,通过目标语来教授外语的教学原则在外语教学体系中一直占据着主流地位,它排斥母语在课堂中的出现,主张通过纯外语输入使学习者获得有效的外语输出。然而,国际上近年来的实验和理论研究结果对目标语教学原则提出了挑战,提出了双语教学原则,强调母语在教学中的作用。目标语原则与双语原则看似互相排斥,其实二者可以融合,以达到最佳的教学效果。
For more than one hundred years, the teaching principle of teaching foreign languages through the target language has always occupied the mainstream status in the foreign language teaching system. It rejects the appearance of native language in the classroom and advocates the effective foreign language output through the input of pure foreign languages. However, in recent years, the results of experimental and theoretical research have challenged the principle of target language teaching, put forward the principle of bilingual teaching and emphasized the role of mother tongue in teaching. The principle of target language and the principle of bilingualism seem mutually exclusive, in fact, the two can be integrated in order to achieve the best teaching effect.
