From October 1990 to March 1991, we used color Doppler flow imaging (CFI) to measure mitral valve area (MVA) in patients with rheumatic heart disease and mitral stenosis and compared them with two-dimensional ultrasound 2DE) and Doppler pressure half-time (PHT) control study, to investigate the value of CFI in the measurement of MVA. 1 objects and methods 1.1 test subjects 34 patients with rheumatic mitral stenosis in this group, 9 males and ‧ females
