As is known to all，Chinese characters have experienced a long time to develop.Many scholars spent almost all their life studying Chinese characters.The characters combine the appearance，sound and meaning to a whole.
Original Chinese characters are pictographic.Once seeing “人”，you will think about a person；once seeing “水”，you will think about a puddle of water；once seeing “鱼”，you will think about a fish.However，the original characters cannot satisfy all the expression demand in the ancestor’s daily life.The characters have been changed and become more and more symbolized in the later dynasty.At the end of the medieval China，traditional characters came into being and have been followed today in Taiwan and Hongkong.In 2015，government planned to simplify the characters once more which caused a big argument in the society.Personally，it is not necessary to simplify it once more.
The aim of simplifying the characters is to let more citizens learn how to read and how to write them.The background of the 1954 simplifying is that most citizens cannot read or write.They have very low education level.the complexity of the traditional characters is a barrier for them to learn.However，today things are not that case.Free education，economic growth and de digital technology largely promoted the education level of the citizens.Almost everyone can read and write the characters correctly.It is not necessary to simplify the characters once more.
Some people will say that there exists a lot of characters which are really complicated or have complicated part.the fact is that the frequency of using complicated characters is very low.Citizens only need those simple and basic characters in their daily life not those with complex parts.（antithesis）Besides，after using this kind of characters for such a long time，most citizens may be very familiar for them.The sudden change of the character may cause a great mess in using them.Another example of simplifying the characters is in 1975.The government issued the second batch of simplified characters which deleted a lot of they think were not necessary parts of the characters.Finally，in 1987，government had to abolish the second batch of characters.
All in all，the simplifying the character is necessary in some cases.But for today，it is not necessary to simplify the characters once more.
