同学们在学英语过程中,对划线部分提问一直是个难点。如何破解这一难点呢?这里给你指点迷津。
俗话说得好,唱歌要靠曲,否则会跑调。同样在对句子中划线部分提问,也得靠个“曲”,这里为你设计了“五步曲”。
第一步,选择恰当的疑问词。
常用的疑问词有what, how, who, whose, where, which, how old, what color, when, what time, why, how many, how much, how time等等。如:
①My name is Helen. 划线部分指的是“人的名字”,则应用what疑问词。
What’s your name?
②It’s six thirty now. 划线部分指的是“时间”,则应选用what time疑问词。
What time is it now?
第二步,分析确定被提问部分是否在句子中作主语或是主语的部分。如:
③My sister and mother are going to Beijing tomorrow.划线部分是主语,指的是“人”,则应选用who疑问词。
Who is going to Beijing tomorrow?
第三步,如果被提问的部分是主语或主语的一部分,则可直接用所选的疑问词来代替被提问的部分,句末将句号变为问号。如:
④Li Hong is my sister. 划线部分在句中指“人”,则疑问词应选who,句末改问号即可。
Who is your sister?
⑤My shoes are white. 划线部分指的是“谁的”,是主语的一部分,则应选用whose疑问词。
Whose shoes are white?
第四步,如果被提问的部分不是句子的主语或主语的一部分,则要把这句子变为一般疑问句形式,然后用所选的疑问词代替划线部分,并将这个疑问词置于句首,删去划线部分,句末改用问号。如:
⑥My cup is green.
(1)选择疑问词What color
(2)变为一般疑问句Is your cup green?
(3)What color置于句首,去掉green,得到结果。
What color is your cup?
第五步,如果被提问的部分是谓语动词,还要把此句变为一般疑问句,然后用do等的适当形式代替谓语动词,去掉宾语,并在句首加疑问词what等。如:
⑦She is watching TV now.此句变为一般疑问句为Is she watching TV now?则所得疑问句为What is she doing now?
这是最简单的对划线部分提问的五种步骤,最后一定要做好复查工作,多思考各种情况的变化形式,才能做到百战百胜。
