“China”一词是中国的英文译名,它还有另外一个意思——瓷器。在英国大英博物馆有三尊陶瓷造像,摆放在东方馆中国展厅入口最显著的位置上,似乎也暗合中华与瓷器密不可分。这三尊瓷造像粗略看上去像一组:都是三彩造像,高度在1米到1米2。细看不难发现他们所塑造的形象属于不同的宗教信仰。最左边的是道教的元始天尊,另外两尊却是佛教偶像,中间的是
