1982～1985年,我县杂交稻平均结实率分别为83％、84.19％、81.74％、78.33％,1986年提高到87.01％,主要原因是抓了下列四条措施。 (一)选用结实率高的高产新组合 1985年以前,我县杂交稻一直以汕优6号当家,1986年全县种植了高产、优质的新组合汕优63达8万亩,占杂交稻面积44.4％。据成熟时考查:汕优63平均结实率达89.14％,比汕优6号高3.63％;千粒重达29.84克,比汕优6号增加3克;亩产达687.6公斤,比汕优6号增加80.8公斤,增产13.3％。
