在教育实践中,初中阶段往往被看作是人生的特殊时期。从心理学角度看,初中学生年龄大多在12~16岁之间。正处于人的心理断奶期,这一时期充满多种心理矛盾;从教育学角度看,初中阶段既是义务教育的终结又是基础教育的中间阶段;从社会学角度看,初中阶段是学生个体社会化的关键期。这一时期,通过社会影响、家庭感染,尤其是学校教育的主导作用,使学生完成个体社会化,具备现代社会生活需要的世界观、人生观、价值观、学习观。因此,全面研究和了解初中学生的特殊心理,有针对性的实施教育,对于实施初中义务教育、促进学生个体社会化有重要意义。
