森林覆盖率是衡量一个国家或地区的林业水平的重要标志之一。近九年来,如东县林业资源增长较快,全县森林覆盖率已由1981年的3.5％,增长到1988年的10.5％以上。但随着义务植树运动的逐步深入,越来越多县、乡领导和干群提出“如东的森林覆盖率应达到什么标准为最佳”等疑问。为了确切回答上述问题和为制定发展规划,组织实施绿化目标管理等提供可靠的科学依据,现就如东最佳森林覆盖率问题探讨如下。
Forest cover is one of the most important indicators of forestry in a country or region. In the past nine years, Rudong County, the rapid growth of forestry resources, the county forest coverage rate from 3.5% in 1981, up to more than 10.5% in 1988. However, with the gradual deepening of volunteer tree planting movement, more and more counties and township leaders and cadres and groups put forward questions such as “What is the best forest coverage rate in Rudong?” In order to answer these questions exactly and provide a reliable scientific basis for formulating the development planning and organizing and implementing the management of afforestation goals, the following is the discussion on the Rudong best forest cover issue.
