The member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council are stepping up the implementation of the reform plan and adjusting the economic structure through a series of measures such as privatization and diversification so as to make up for the losses caused by the weak oil price and guarantee the long-term stable development of the national economy. Six member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have been established for 13 years. Oil reserves and production account for 40% and 20% of the world’s total respectively.
