小麦是我区的主要粮食作物,其播种面积占粮食作物总面积的60％。努力提高小麦产量,对于提高我区粮食总产量,有重大的意义。许多事例说明,小麦并不是低产作物。例如,伊宁市红旗公社四大队一小队,一九七二年种植10亩阿勃小麦,亩产1,004斤;一九七三年,兵团农八师一四五团种植10.4亩新冬2号,亩产1,063斤,一四九团十一连种植150亩欧柔春麦,亩产703斤。目前,我区小麦单产水平还很低,是大有潜力可挖的。
Wheat is the main food crop in our region and its sown area accounts for 60% of the total area of food crops. Efforts to increase wheat production are of great significance to improving the total grain output in our region. Many examples show that wheat is not a low-yield crop. For example, a small team of the Fourth Brigade of Hongqi Commune in Yining City planted 10 acres of Abel wheat in 1992, yielding 1,004 kg of mu. In 1973, a total of 10.4 mu of Xin Dong 2 was planted by the Corps’ , 1,063 kg per mu, one hundred and forty-nine regiments of 11 acres planted soft European spring, 703 kg per mu. At present, the yield level of wheat in our region is still very low and there is great potential to be tapped.
