本文从语用学视角,以语用等效为原则,探讨汉语新词新义的英译策略。通过分析汉语新词的语言语境及文化语境,准确把握其语用含义,再根据这些语用因素选择适当的翻译策略,以适合于英语语言环境的表达式来再现汉语词语的语用含义,确保译文读者对原文词语的真实意图的正确把握和识别,即达到译文与原文的语用等效。
From the perspective of pragmatics, this thesis, based on the principle of pragmatic equivalence, explores the strategy of English translation of new Chinese neologisms. By analyzing the linguistic context and cultural context of Chinese neologisms, we can accurately grasp their pragmatic implications, and then select the appropriate translation strategies based on these pragmatic factors to reproduce the pragmatic meaning of Chinese terms with expressions suitable for English locales , To ensure that the readers of the translation correctly grasp and identify the true intentions of the original words and words, that is, achieve the pragmatic equivalence of the translated and original texts.
