语言是交际的工具,英语教学的最终目标是培养学生以书面或口头方式进行实际的能力。随着奥运会在我国的举办,对外体育交流与合作日益频繁,社会对体育人才的英语水平要求越来越高。而运动学校的英语教学已经难以满足社会对体育人才的要求。在运动学校的英语课堂教学中,学生反映听说课课堂气氛沉闷,课堂活动单调乏味,而教师则抱怨学生不积极配合。造成这种局面的原因很多。教材作为教学工作的重心,整个教学计划都是围绕着教材展开,选择适当的教材会使教学事半功倍,反之则会影响教学质量。本文就从教材选择的角度来分析运动学校教学问题的成因。
Language is a tool for communication. The ultimate goal of English teaching is to develop students’ practical ability in written or verbal form. With the hosting of the Olympic Games in China, the exchanges and cooperation in sports abroad have become more and more frequent, and the society has become increasingly demanding for the English level of sports talents. However, English teaching in sports schools can hardly meet the social requirements for sports talents. In English class teaching in sports schools, students report that classroom atmosphere is dull and classroom activities are dull, while teachers complain that students do not actively cooperate. There are many reasons for this situation. Teaching materials as the focus of teaching work, the entire teaching plan is centered on the development of teaching materials, the selection of appropriate teaching materials will make teaching more effective, and vice versa will affect the quality of teaching. This article analyzes the causes of teaching problems in sports schools from the perspective of the selection of teaching materials.
