1986年3月23日,舞阳县博物馆收到章华乡前古城村张缪纯同志交献的一块楚国“郢爰”。这块金币长2.3、宽1.5、厚0.4厘米。重18克。上铸“郢爰”二字,仅一印,涂朱。背面有阴刻“(?)”字。三面均有截断痕迹(图一)。这块金币是张缪纯同志在自己院内挖红薯窖时发现的。金币距地面约2米。《左传》记载:“(鲁)昭公十一年(公元前531年),楚子城陈、蔡、不羹。使弃疾为陈、蔡公”。《河南通志·卷五十二》:“定陵城在舞阳县城
