笔者于1988年9月始登讲台,一直从事农村小学数学教学工作。在多年的教学实践中,“潜力生”的存在一直是笔者的“心病”。在农村小学,由于小学生的年龄小,有些学生的心智水平和生理发展没有同步,容易造成自控能力差、情绪不够稳定等现象,没有养成良好的学习习惯,如果再受到不良社会风气或家庭环境影响,对自己没有严格要求,久而久之,学习成绩每况愈下,逐步失去学习信心,
