大学英语教学无论是英语专业还是非英语专业都存在着不少的问题,英语教学的实效其实十分堪忧。对于英语这一从小并没有深入接触的语言,用长达十数年的时间来学习也未必有母语学得精通。再加上中西方文化的差异是巨大的,体现在语言方面也出现不小的鸿沟。所以要想加强大学英语教学的实效,就必须进行必要的创新和改革。培养学生英美文学素养成为当前很多高校的有效尝试,成为当前提升学生整体英语水平的有效手段之一。本文就大学英语教学中培养学生英美文学素养的必要性、可行性、现实路径进行解析。 College English teaching both English major and non-English major are a lot of problems, the effectiveness of English teaching is actually very worrying. For the language of English, an ageless language, it may not be proficient to study in mother tongue for as long as ten years. Coupled with the differences between Chinese and Western cultures is huge, reflected in the language there are not small gaps. Therefore, if we want to strengthen the effectiveness of college English teaching, we must make necessary innovations and reforms. To cultivate students’Anglish and American literary accomplishments has become an effective attempt of many colleges and universities at present, and it has become one of the effective means to enhance students’ overall English. This article analyzes the necessity, feasibility and realistic path of cultivating students’ English and American literature in college English teaching.
