With the rapid economic development in China, the art market is active and the creative environment is relaxed. There is a thriving scene in contemporary Chinese painting creation: various forms of exhibitions emerge in an endless stream, various kinds of publications are dazzling, various “operations” surging. For a time, “Chinese painting hot” suddenly heating up. However, through this prosperous appearance, we have also seen the negative elements of many Chinese painting works. Many contemporary Chinese painting works, size and scenes can not be underestimated, form and pattern, indifferent, theme and image, not surprising; practices and stunts, can not stop without a break. However, these seemingly “beautiful” paintings of Chinese paintings are less apt to look, impotent to taste. It is very difficult for people to stay in front of these works or to look back afterwards. The works appear to be one-off consumer goods and lose their paintings Some patience Today, I invite all of you to talk about your own views on this issue.
