即将过去的2010年,是人类科学史上取得卓越成就和重大进步的一年,许多具有重大意义的科学理念汇集、总结,为下一轮的技术革命奏响了序曲。什么是科学理念?什么又是当今最前沿的科学理念呢?“科学理念”一词在日常生活中很少使用,因为它总给人以深奥难懂的印象。其实,它主要指人们对科学的基本看法、基本理念。近代科学诞生的四五百年来,占主导地位的理念是:科学是真理的集合;科学造福人类,其作用是正面的、积极的;科学方法是普遍适用和有效的。随着时代的发展,科学本身也在发生日新月异的变化。牛顿力学曾被普遍认为穷尽了科学的真理,牛顿之后的科学家所能做的顶多是点点滴滴的补充。然而,量子力学和相对论的横空出世,告诉我们科学的发展是无穷无尽的,每过去一分钟,可能就有一项新的理论提出。在21世纪的第10个年头里,又有哪些新的科学理念值得被历史铭记?让我们一起细数吧。
The forthcoming 2010 is a year of remarkable achievements and significant progress in the history of human sciences. Many scientific concepts of great significance have been brought together and summed up, playing the prelude to the next round of technological revolution. What is the scientific concept? What is the most cutting-edge scientific concept today? “The term” scientific concept "rarely used in daily life, because it always gives the impression of esoteric mystery. In fact, it mainly refers to people’s basic views on science, basic concepts. In the four or five centuries since the birth of modern science, the dominant idea is that science is a collection of truths; that science benefits mankind, its role is positive and positive; and that scientific methods are universally applicable and effective.
