尤侗创作了众多词集序跋及评点,其词论自成一家。以往研究中忽略了尤侗的词学评点。结合词集序跋与评点,对其词学理论得出新的认识。尤侗对词学尊体与辨体的认识围绕诗词曲三者的联系展开,于当时属于较正确的认识,但拘泥于词以合乐是其局限之处。尤侗推尊艳情词与豪放词,特别是对艳情词的观点迥异时人,他直接颂扬艳情,并不以寄托说来提升艳情词地位。这一观点源于他道性情的文学思想与词学理论。
