The National Head and Neck Oncological Surgery Conference of the Chinese Medical Association’s Otolaryngology Association was held in Guangzhou from November 22 to November 26, 1993. The conference communicated on the basic and clinical research status of head and neck cancer surgery, as well as new technologies and methods. The following is a summary of the diagnostic aspects of imaging: 1. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma and nasopharyngeal angiofibroma. The CT examination of clinically diagnosed nasopharyngeal angiofibroma in Xinjiang Medical College indicated that the preoperative CT scan provided the correct basis for the size, extent, invasion of the tumor, and its relationship with the pterygopalatine fossa and the sphenoid sinus surrounding structures.
