Purpose: Good ontological sensation and balance play an important role in preventing falls. This study examines the impact of the dual task of music on the ontological sensation and balance of the elderly. Methods: A total of 17 middle-aged and older subjects over 55 years old were selected, including 8 females and 9 males. Using the Ogilvy & Mather Bismarck Balance Balance Training Tester, subjects were asked to exercise their eyes in a quiet environment, with both eyes open and feet wide, eyes closed, feet and eyes open for 10 seconds each balance test, Single-task balance test and music dual task balance test randomly. Record two kinds of tasks under the sense of ontology and balance indicators. Using SPSS20.0 statistical software for independent sample T test statistical analysis. Results: There was no significant difference in proprioceptive and balance between single task and music dual task test (P> 0.05). Conclusion: Musical disturbances have little effect on proprioception and balance of the elderly, but attention should be paid to the impact of cognitive load distribution.
