2011中国国际旅游交易会于10月30日闭幕,据不完全统计,本届交易会共接待人数超过10万人次,累计发放宣传品254.23万份,签订合同超过万份,交出了一份让人满意的“成绩单”。本届交易会,云南在展览模式上也进行了许多改革和创新,为提升中国昆明国际旅游交易会的参展实效和国际化水准,国家旅游局与美国国际旅游营销公司再度合作,首次在云南举办“游中国”买卖双方预约洽谈会。同时增添了旅游产业与城市建设融合发展研讨会、中国国际旅游品牌营销研讨会等新内容、新项目。云南省、上海市、江苏省及国旅总社、中青旅、康辉、首旅等旅游企业均对现场销售工作进行了周密安排,取得了较好的效果。
