Language and culture cannot be separated in learning foreign languages. As we communicate with native speakers, the influencing factors are not only the language itself, but also the culture. This paper tries to present the close unity of language, culture and communication. This point has implications for foreign language learning.

【摘要】负迁移是中国学生英语写作中普遍存在的现象。受母语的影响，中国学生倾向于将汉语规则应用于英语写作。由于这两种语言分属两个不同的语系，它们之间存在着大量的词汇、语法、句法等方面的差异，这些差异导致了一种称作“语言迁移”的现象。语言迁移是指第二语言学习者无意中把母语习得的东西迁移到第二语言学习中的情况。当语言迁移加快第二语言的学习者习得时，属于正迁移；如果语言迁移阻碍第二语言的习得，便是负迁移。
