Since human beings have come human beings understand, create, exchange and record information, and related storage media. From primitive petroglyphs, jungle notes, muddy hieroglyphs, ancient bamboo slips, silk books, paper books, to modern e-books, CD music / DVD videos and various types of digital storage media, Interpersonal communication bridge, and future generations described long history. At the same time as today’s information explosion, more and more “massive” storage space, increasingly fragile security, and ever-increasing ease of use requirements are urging people to innovate storage technologies one after another. What we can foresee clearly now is the innovations such as Blu-ray DVD, perpendicular recording hard disk and flash-type hard disk drive will become the mainstream. Visually there are many layers of optical storage and holographic storage technologies.
