Ｇ－菌感染在儿科感染中占有重要地位，目前一些抗生素或因毒性作用大，或因组织浓度低，或因耐药菌增多，应用受到限制。氨曲南具有高疗效、低毒性和体液浓度高等特点，因而在治疗尿路、呼吸道或中枢神经系统等Ｇ－菌感染方面作用显著，还可用于对青霉素和头孢菌素类过敏或耐药者，并可替代氨基糖甙类抗生素。
G-bacteria infection plays an important role in pediatric infection. At present, some antibiotics are either limited by toxicity or due to the low tissue concentration or the increase of resistant bacteria.
