Over the past 60 years, the United States has two extremes of introspection on the Korean War: the one on the one hand is the DPRK-ROK war on the one hand and the “collective forgetfulness” on the other; it is also the “military study on fatigue” in the military historiography. For decades, the orthodox, revisionist and revisionist revisionists in the U.S. war on the armies have either stuck to one another or staggered with each other, but the trend is that the orthodox (or revisionist) revisionists have become mainstream . Correspondingly, the public awareness of the DPRK war in the United States is still hovering at a low level. These two polarizations are still affecting the attitude and policies of the United States towards the government and the opposition toward the DPRK.
