侧群细胞(side population,sP)是一类具有干细胞特性,能够排出活性污染Hoechst33342而具有弱荧光染色特性的细胞。利用这一特性,sP细胞可以通过免疫荧光激活细胞法结合流式细胞仪被分选,目前在人、鼠多种卵巢癌细胞株及患者腹水中成功分选、鉴定、培养,证实了sP细胞的存在,并证实其与肿瘤干细胞之间存在一致性。基于对sP细胞生物学特性的研究,进一步了解肿瘤干细胞在基因调控、信号转导等方面的研究,并且为研究卵巢癌干细胞创造有价值的细胞模型。本文就sP细胞在卵巢癌干细胞中的研究进展作一综述。
Side population (sP) is a group of cells that have the characteristics of stem cells and can excrete the active contaminating Hoechst33342 and have weak fluorescent staining. Using this feature, sP cells can be sorted by immunofluorescence activated cell sorting combined with flow cytometry. Currently, sP cells are successfully sorted, identified, and cultured in various ovarian cancer cell lines and in patients with ascites. Of the existence, and confirmed its existence and cancer stem cells between the consistency. Based on the study of biological characteristics of sP cells, further understanding of cancer stem cells in gene regulation, signal transduction and other aspects of research, and for the study of ovarian cancer stem cells to create a valuable cell model. This review summarizes the progress of sP cells in ovarian cancer stem cells.
