作为英语学习的基础,词汇在初中英语的教学中发挥着十分重要的作用。可以说,词汇教学的效果在很大程度上决定着英语教学的好坏。随着语境理论研究的深入,其在英语词汇教学中的运用也得以深化,成为英语词汇教学中一种有效的教学方法。借助语境,学生可以较全面地掌握词汇的意义,教师亦可通过上下文关系、文化语境、情境语境等来锻炼学生对词汇含义的猜测能力,以此来激发学生学习英语的兴趣,为学生日后英语的深入学习奠定良好的基础,提高初中英语的教学质量。
As the basis of English learning, vocabulary plays a very important role in the teaching of junior high school English. It can be said that the effectiveness of vocabulary teaching to a large extent determines the quality of English teaching. With the deepening of the study of context theory, its use in English vocabulary teaching has also been deepened and become an effective teaching method in English vocabulary teaching. With the help of context, students can grasp the meaning of vocabulary more fully. Teachers can also stimulate students ’ability of guessing the meaning of vocabulary through contextual relationships, cultural contexts and situational contexts to stimulate students’ interest in learning English. Students in-depth study of English in the future to lay a good foundation to improve junior high school English teaching quality.
