The Jurassic in the eastern Junggar Basin can be divided into six sedimentary sequences and two structural sequences, the lower structural sequence includes sequences Ⅰ ~ Ⅳ, and the upper structural sequence includes sequences Ⅴ ~ Ⅵ. Among the six sedimentary sequences, alluvial fan, fluvial, deltaic and lacustrine sedimentary systems were developed. Wetland fan, braided river, braided river delta and meandering river, normal delta, slip turbidite fan, Lake, shallow lake and other sedimentary environment. The distribution and evolution of sedimentary system have obvious succession. There are two provenance areas in the south and north. The sequence I and the northern source are abundant, forming alluvial fan braided river braided river delta sedimentary system. Sequence Ⅱ ~ Ⅲ , The extension of the lake basin and the general retreat of the north provenance resulted in the formation of the normal Delta smooth turbidite fan lake sedimentary system in the Meandering River; the sequences Ⅳ-Ⅴ were controlled by the Southern provenance to form small meandering delta; and to the sequence Ⅵ, The basin drastically dwindled to form a broadly meandering river sediment. The coal-bearing strata in the Changji Depression and the slope area have the most potential for hydrocarbon generation especially in the sequence Ⅲ lake invasion mudslides. The sequence sequence of the Cai’nan and slope zone Ⅲ meandering rivers and deltaic sandbodies are the major reservoirs. The three reservoirs and the three northern areas The main oil-gas reservoirs are the sub-distributary channel sand bodies and their sequences in the delta front, the delta front and the delta riparian channel sand bar
