However, because some traditional concepts and models of education are deeply rooted, they still affect us. The most prominent is the examination-oriented education. It is like a grudge that implicates the teachers in pioneering and innovating, and restricts the students’ autonomous learning. It leads to serious consequences: teachers teach blindly, students learn passively, and produce only communicators and bearers of uni- versal knowledge; it does not make teaching and learning a pleasure; it makes our education reform appear somewhat pale. Therefore, we must break this shackles and re-examine our teachings
