保定军校的毕业生,有不少是反对蒋介石独裁,进而组建和加入民主党派,而后又毅然投身新中国的将领,包括后来成为国家领导人的李济深、季方等。李济深,原名济琛,字任潮,1885生于广西苍梧。1909年被保送到保定军咨府军官学校(后改名陆军大学)学习,在校期间参加辛亥革命活动。1912年3月,返回陆军大学继续学业。后任黄埔军校副校长,国民革命军第四军军长, Many of the graduates of Baoding Military Academy are generals who oppose Chiang Kai-shek’s dictatorship and then form and join democratic parties and then resolutely join the new China, including Li Jishen and Jifang who later became state leaders.
