排湾族作家莫那能的创作,诞生于台湾社会的民主转型期,既是台湾少数民族于溃散中寻求主体重生的现代化经验,也是1970~1980年代台湾知识分子与草根力量相结合的反体制运动的深刻见证。从少数民族的视角,打开了理解战后台湾社会变迁的一个重要层面。同时,莫那能的歌吟口述,看似粗粝的形式中蕴含连接部落传统与现实问题的文学之美,作为台湾少数民族汉语书写的先行者,开启了一条台湾少数民族现代文学的笃实脉络。文章从运动中诞生的诗人、部落的吟唱传统、建立在生存困境之上的幽默叙事,以及部落价值观反思几个层面,探讨莫那能的歌与言的价值。
The writing by Paiwan Monarch was born in the period of democratic transition in Taiwan society.
