[Objective] To establish a method for the determination of naringin in the leaf of Citrus wilsonii Tanaka by HPLC.[Method] The content of naringin in the leaf of C.wilsonii was determined by HPLC.The separation was performed on a Kromasil column C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) with the detection wavelength at 286 nm.Following the injection of sample solution,an elution with methanol-water-glacial acetic acid(V/V/V,30:68:2) as mobile phase was initiated at the flow rate of 1.1 ml/min.[Result] There was a good linearity between the naringin concentration of 0.192 6 and 1.152 μg/ml.The addition recovery rate was 100.6% with the RSD of 1.5%(n=6).[Conclusion] The established HPLC method for determining the content of naringin in C.wilsonii leaf takes advantages of simplicity,accuracy,good repeatability,high precision and strong specificity,which could provide scientific basis for quality control specification of C.wilsonii leaves,variety identification of FRUCTUS CITRI and development of different medicinal parts.
