　　Barium ferrite has been prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method using stoichiometric amounts of iron nitrate and barium nitrate as the starting materials.The composition and microscopic morphology of samples were studied using X-ray powder diffraction analysis(XRD)and scanning electron microscope(SEM).
