An indigenous Klebsiella oxytoca Rs-5 (GenBank accession number EF508705), which previously isolated from the saline field in xmjiang province, China, with ACC as the sole nitrogen source, could secrete phytohormones, relieve salt stress, dissolve P and obviously promote cotton seedling growth in secondary salinization soil[1].Encapsulation of the bacteria is an effective technique that provides a suitable microenvironment for their survival, in the meantime, enables slow and controlled cell release with long-term effects[2,3].
