Molecular targets for anti-cancer drugs have emerged from the accumulated evidence obtained by a huge number of the studies in oncology during more than recent three decades.These molecular-targeted anti-cancer drugs include not only small molecular compounds but also antibodies and are administrated in clinic with high efficacy and excellent safety.The bottlenecks of the target discovery for the small molecule and antibody drugs at this moment and their solutions will be discussed.
