Social transformation,technological innovation,and the change of cognitive learning behavior of the next generation of learners are all new requirements for school education reform.How to use the Internet thinking and big data technology to reconstruct the school education,promote the structural system reform,and realize the "smart education" in the information age,become the main melody of the education reform in the information age.The development of the smart education needs to conduct smart teaching and learning based on the application of new generation of data science and technology,integration of online education and school education,evaluation of students' complex ability supported by technology,and so on.Its core is to use the smart education environment to reshape the school and classroom,and study the cognitive and learning rules of next generation,redesign the curriculum,teaching and learning.The basic development path of smart education:(1)the smart education environment construction based on the new generation of Internet technology;(2)the development of teachers' competencies for ICT in education;(3)Practice of smart teaching and learning;(4)Assessing students' Complex Competencies.
