Swirl nozzle composed of a yarn channel and an air channel can reduce hairiness of a spun yarn in traditional ring spinning frame.In order to optimize the internal structure of swirl nozzle and improve the performance of spun yarn,in the paper,seven nozzles with different airway angles were designed to reduce hairiness of the ring spinning yarn.Through evaluating the performance indexes of yarn,including hairiness and unevenness,we analyzed the effects of airway angle of swirl nozzle on yarn properties.
