Highly oriented TiO2 nanorod arrays on transparent conducting substrates would be the most promising nanostructure in synthesizing heterojunction solar cells because of its direct pathway for photogeneration carriers transmission and enhancement of the surface area as well as superior light harvesting efficiency [1-3].In this work, p-Cu2O/n-TiO2 nanorod solar cells were prepared through a two-step method.A TiO2 nanorod arrays film was grown on fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) substrate by a simple hydrothermal method, and then CH2O thin films were fabricated on the vertically aligned TiO2 nanorods photoelectrode by electrodeposition.
