We investigated the effects of citric acid and chitosan coating on postharvest quality and shelf life of atemoya (Annona cherimola × Annona squamosa African Pride) stored at 15 ± 1℃ for 10 days.Compared to the control treatment,treatment with a combination of citric acid and chitosan delayed browning,splitting,and decay,maintained tissue firmness,and inhibited an increase in respiration rate and a decline in chlorophyll content.
