Transmetallation and oxidative addition-reductive elimination are key elemental steps for a wild variety of transition-metal-catalyzed processes and also often appears as part of the catalytic cycle for various asymmetric catalyses.Rhodium-catalyzed carbon-silicon bond cleavage reactions were reported by Chatani[1] and Hayashi[2] respectively, provided an efficient method for the synthesis of silicon derivates.
