在土壤样品中筛选到一株渗透压敏感的链霉菌.该菌产黑色素,在MS培养基上生长和产孢良好.在2CM和MM基本培养基上能够生长,但产孢较差.值得注意的是,该菌在R2YE培养基上不能生长,在蔗糖浓度梯度分别为20g/L、 40g/L、 60g/L、 80g/L、 90g/L的R2YE上能够生长,但不能正常产孢且生长逐渐变差.在蔗糖被移除替换的R2YE培养基中,该菌对木糖的耐受度最高仅为10g/L,而对甘露醇的耐受度约为100g/L.实验比较表明天蓝色链霉菌在相同条件下对蔗糖、甘露醇和木糖的耐受能力均远远大于该菌.16S rDNA测序后比对发现该菌和Streptomyces triostinicus的同源性为99%.
