  Poly(L-lactide) (PLLA) is one of biodegradable polymers from renewable resource, but its brittleness limits the application in various commercial items.It is reported that the toughness of PLEA can be improved by blending with poly(butylenes succinate) (PBS), which is a biodegradable polymer having high toughness.However,PLLA and PBS are incompatible thermodynamically[1].Because of this, how to improve the compatiblity of PLLA/PBS blends has become a hot research topic.Research finds that zinc acetate (Zn(OAc)2) can be used as areactive processing agent by melt blending[2].
