Sr3Ti2O7∶Eu3+,Bi3+ phosphors is synthesised by hydrothermal method.The Eu3+ and Bi3+ ions doped-contencration are discussed,respectively.The emission peaking at 617 nm is observed under 397 nm excitation,which is well match with the near UV 397 nm chip.The intensity of Sr3Ti2O7∶Eu3+,Bi3+ phosphors is stonger than that of Sr3Ti2O7∶Eu3+ phosphor due to co-doped Bi3+ ion.The energy transfer between Eu3+ and Bi3+ ions in Sr3Ti2O7∶Eu3+,Bi3+ phosphors is observed and the luminous mechanism is discussed.The experimental results indicated that Sr3Ti2O7∶Eu3+,Bi3+ phosphor may be a potential reddish orange phosphor candidate for W-LED under a~397 nm n-UV LED chip excitation.
