The aging process occurs during an individuals lifetime. Human are all involved in this process and none canescape it. Plastic surgeons use facelift to rejuvenate and try to give a person a more youthfuE look. Technically, theprocedure is known as rhytidectomy and involves taking away redundant facial skin, redraping and then tightening theunderlying tissues. However, as we know, the aging process on face is not only the ptosis of the skin with its underlyingsoft tissue, but also the deficiency of the volume of these soft tissue elements. In term of these two aging processes;ptosis and loss of facial soft tissue, it seems as important to have some strategies to restore the ongoing soft tissue lossas lifting the ptosis by rhytidectomy.
