The aim of this study was to identify the resistance genes and genetic relationship of carbapenemase-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae (CPKP) identified in a tertiary university hospital inChina.Eighteen CPKP isolates,representing forty carbapenem-resistant strains collected in a Chinese hospital during 2012,were analyzed.Among these isolates,most of the CRKP produced only KPC-2 (55.6 ％);however,22.2 ％of the isolates produced onlyNew Delhimetallo-beta-lactamase 1 (NDM-1),5.6 ％produced both KPC-2 and IMP-4,5.6 ％produced both KPC-2 and NDM-1,and 22.2 ％produced only IMP-4.
