白介素17受体E是白介素17受体家族中一个研究极少的"孤儿"受体.我们的研究发现白介素17受体E的配体是白介素17C并且该受体对于宿主粘膜抗感染免疫至关重要.白介素17C通过白介素17受体E和受体A的受体复合物向下游传导信号继而激活抗菌肽和炎症因子的表达.
