Civilization is like a bird that needs two wings to fly.One wing is that of science which uncovers knowledge of the physical world and leads to material progress.The other wing is that of religion which teaches spiritual truth and leads to moral development.Much of the affairs can be powerful forces in human affairs:for religion without science easily becomes superstition or fanaticism, and science without religion leads to an empty materialism.
